Job summary

International SOS is seeking aPrivacy Director for Government Services in the US to lead privacy governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. The role combines hands-on privacy program leadership with cross-functional collaboration across Legal, Information Security, and Business units.

The role requires strong experience in DPIAs, data breach response, and vendor risk management, with a focus on regulatory alignment across HIPAA, GDPR, and US federal/state laws.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in data privacy roles (DPIAs, data transfers, privacy by design).
• Experience with HIPAA, GDPR, US state regs; audits handling.
• Ability to manage privacy program and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Oversee privacy risk mitigation across products, services and processes.
• Manage privacy processes using central platform (OneTrust).
• Lead privacy incidents and coordinate with Legal, IS, Contracts, Government Program leadership.
• Drive RoPA, DPIAs, and other privacy assessments across units.
• Support third-party risk management and vendor due diligence.
• Provide regular status updates to senior leadership on privacy program.
