Job summary

Crowley is seeking a pricing professional to craft profitable rates and contract proposals for designated trade lanes and customers, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will collaborate with freight services, sales, and operations to align pricing strategies and respond to market opportunities.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in business or related field and 2–4 years in pricing or sales support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are essential for success

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, transportation/logistics or equivalent.
• 2–4 years industry experience with 1–2 years in customer service or sales.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with multiple teams and manage pricing data.

Responsibilities

• Create profitable and competitive rates and contract proposals for assigned trade lanes and/or customers.
• Review costs and other marketing data to develop rate offerings.
• Develop timely responses to RFPs.
• Keep other departments informed of pricing matters related to assigned lanes and opportunities.
• Negotiate with customers or through Sales to maximize margins.
• Develop and maintain net analysis spreadsheets and costing tools for pricing personnel.
