Job summary

TMC Transportation, headquartered in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Pricing Analyst to manage and optimize pricing for asset-based freight services. You will quote spot rates, review RFP submissions, and perform rate analytics to ensure competitive, profitable pricing for flatbed operations, working with Sales, Operations, and Finance.

Responsibilities include maintaining pricing structures, generating regular reports, tracking win/loss metrics, and collaborating across teams to drive pricing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in asset-based pricing within the transportation industry, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of working with pricing models, RFPs, and rate negotiation in asset-based transportation environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver spot quotes based on customer requests, considering market conditions and cost structures.
• Review and organize RFP checklists for customer bids and ensure timely pre-bid processes.
• Develop and maintain regular reporting for rate changes and pricing performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to align pricing strategies with company goals.
• Monitor win/loss percentages and revenue growth from pricing.
