Job summary

CSC Generation is seeking a Pricing & Reporting Analyst in Cottonwood Heights, UT. You will own day-to-day pricing operations—driving markdowns, MAP/MSRP compliance, and AI-powered workflows—working closely with the Sr. Pricing Analyst.

You will run pricing operations within a lean, fast-moving team, delivering data-driven recommendations to improve sell-through, margin, and working capital while collaborating with Planning, Buying, Marketing, and Finance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of analyst experience, preferably in retail, ecommerce, or a data-driven role.
• Demonstrated daily use of AI tools for real work—prompt iteration and critical evaluation.
• Strong Excel (pivots, lookups, formulas) and quick learning of technical apps.
• Solid understanding of retail math (margin, markdown, sell-through) and related financial concepts.
• Awareness of pricing behavior and impact on product pages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate analyses into recommendations.
• Ability to work independently and across cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull pricing, margin, and sales data from the data warehouse for ad hoc analysis.
• Use AI tools daily to write formulas, draft SQL, automate tasks, and accelerate learning.
• Execute pricing changes across four banners, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Monitor competitive pricing and surface risks and opportunities to pricing and buying teams.
• Track MAP and MSRP compliance and correct violations promptly.
• Provide analytical input to pricing strategy discussions to improve sell-through and margins.
• Build and maintain pricing reports and dashboards used by Planning, Buying, Marketing.
• Document and improve pricing processes, turning analyses into repeatable AI-powered workflows.
• Partner with Marketing on promotional pricing setup and post-promo recaps.
