The role requires a Bachelor's in a construction-related field, 2+ years in Estimating/Preconstruction, and 7–10 years total experience with construction software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Construction related field (Construction Management, Engineering, etc)
• 2+ years of Estimating or Preconstruction Management experience with a commercial general contractor
• Ideal candidates will have 7–10 years of total experience; field experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Work with owners and design partners to understand project goals and client objectives
• Establish and maintain partner relationships with design firms and subcontractors
• Maintain vendor relationships to stay current on product offerings for value engineering
• Review project specs and plans to determine scopes of work
• Perform quantity takeoffs to derive labor and material costs
• Create scope narratives reflecting cost estimates
• Attend pre-bid meetings and proposal presentations as required
• Participate in cost trend analysis and market cost tracking
