Job summary

Warfel Construction Company in Winchester, VA, is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join our team. You will collaborate with clients, design consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure milestones are met across the preconstruction phase.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in preconstruction or estimating, strong Excel skills, and leadership abilities to guide a project team through procurement, value management, and constructability reviews.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management with strong management skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of preconstruction management or estimating experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; Destini experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BD, Estimating, and Operations on project approach and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain client and consultant relationships.
• Coordinate and lead preconstruction deliverables and schedules.
• Lead the value management process and constructability reviews.
• Review contracts with clients and participate in negotiations.
• Provide guidance to assigned project teams and gather cost data.
• Develop and maintain trade partner relationships.
