Job summary

CPPI is seeking a Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager in Gainesville, FL to develop accurate construction cost estimates and schedules from design through GMP. This role includes analyzing documents to assess costs and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years of estimating experience, and proficiency in construction technologies, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Comprehensive benefits include competitive compensation, paid vacation, and insurance coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• 10+ years of combined preconstruction, estimating, or operational experience preferred.
• LEED accreditation (USGBC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bid-chase briefs and attend pre-bid meetings.
• Review documents to identify risks and perform constructability reviews.
• Coordinate subcontractor bids and prepare detailed estimates.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Cost modeling and data analysis

Strong understanding of commercial construction systems

Education
