Job summary

At AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Pre-Construction Support & Constructability Lead to join our pharmaceutical-focused team. You will guide constructability reviews, front-end planning, and cost/schedule development across multiple projects to optimize execution readiness and ensure alignment with program budgets and regulatory milestones.

The role requires deep experience in pre-construction, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to influence outcomes without direct contractual authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of experience in pre-construction, project management, construction management, program management, or EPC project delivery.
• Experience on major capital projects exceeding $500M in total installed cost; multi-billion-dollar programs a plus.
• Pharmaceutical or complex industrial facility background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead pre-construction planning across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Review engineering deliverables to ensure constructibility and alignment with objectives.
• Facilitate constructability reviews with all stakeholders.
• Lead TVD initiatives to align design with budgets.
• Develop and maintain design-phase cost models and schedule forecasts.
• Identify opportunities for modularization and off-site fabrication.
• Coordinate with controls, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Develop contracting strategies for EPC, Design-Build, CMAR, and hybrids.
• Provide owner-side recommendations on execution strategy and risks.
• Mentor junior staff and establish best practices.
