Job summary

R & W Group in DC seeks a Practice Manager to partner with Practice Group Leaders and collaborate across the firm to drive operational excellence within Labor & Employment, Environmental, and Privacy practices. The role influences strategy, optimizes practice operations, and supports growth across three dynamic groups.

Responsibilities include strategic leadership, resource and talent management, and cross-functional operations, with liaison to Finance, Business Development, Talent Development,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Experience in law firm management or professional services operations.
Experience supporting legal practices; transactional law experience is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic and operational initiatives for practice groups.
Monitor matter activity, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
Lead cross-functional communication and information sharing across offices and teams.
Partner with finance, business development, talent development, and technology on initiatives.
