Job summary

Winston Taylor is seeking a Practice Operations Manager to support the daily operational and financial performance across practice groups.

Reporting to the Director of Practice Operations, the POM acts as a strategic liaison between attorneys and administrative teams, helping to execute practice group business plans, drive innovation through technology, and advance the Firm’s strategic priorities at the practice level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; degree in finance or accounting preferred. JD or MBA a plus.
• 5+ years' experience in law firm operations or professional services operations.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills; ability to collaborate with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Monitor department and practice group financial performance and KPIs.
• Assist with transition/integration of lateral partners and groups; manage pipeline for partnerships.
• Drive process improvements and AI adoption at the practice-operations level; support strategic plans.
• Develop and execute business plans in collaboration with group leaders and BD teams.
