Job summary

Jones Day is seeking a Practice Manager to support the HCLS Practice, assist leadership with practice management, business and client development activities, and work collaboratively with lawyers and staff across the Firm. The role focuses on advancing initiatives and executing strategic projects to enhance client service.

The position requires strong communication, organizational and data-analysis skills, with experience in health care or life sciences preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Experience in Health Care and/or Life Sciences is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, time management, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Excel capability and data analysis.
• Strong PowerPoint capability.
• General knowledge of law firm practices.
• Strong service orientation and ability to work with a global team.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing timelines.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships internally and externally.
• Willingness to learn new systems and applications.
• Proficiency with Word, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities
