Jones Day in Chicago seeks a Practice Manager to support the Health Care and Life Sciences practice across the Firm, collaborating with lawyers and staff to advance initiatives and client development.

The role requires at least four years in a law firm or corporate legal department, excellent communication, and strong analytical and data skills; a proactive, detail-oriented team player will thrive in this global firm.

Qualifications

Minimum four years of experience working within a law firm or corporate legal department.
Experience in Health Care and/or Life Sciences is a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong Excel capability and confidence in creative calculations and data analysis.
Strong PowerPoint capability.

Responsibilities

The Practice Manager works independently as well as in a collaborative team-based environment focused on providing exceptional support and responsiveness to lawyers and staff.
Support the Firm’s HCLS Practice, assisting Practice leadership with respect to practice management, business and client development activities.
Collaborate with lawyers and fellow staff to advance and execute Practice initiatives; implement, track and contribute to the success of related projects.
