Job summary

Considine Search is recruiting a Public Relations Manager for Litigation & Trial to serve as a strategic advisor within the Brand & Communications team. Based in the Washington, DC or New York office, the role supports the firm's litigation practice through media relations, messaging, and thought leadership.

The position requires a minimum of ten years in PR/marketing, including five years in relevant roles, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
• At least ten (10) years of cumulative experience, including five (5) years in PR/marketing at an agency or in-house.
• Prior work experience and a deep understanding of litigation and familiarity with the legal industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing proactive press outreach and reactive media relations.
• Writing and editing press releases, case notes, and awards entries.
• Placing byline articles and creating opportunities to leverage thought leadership for press commentary and campaigns.
• Contributing to social media programs to promote the practice.
• Coordinating with Brand & Communications and BD teams to support events and sponsorships.
• Protecting confidential information.
