Job summary

Laughlin Constable is seeking an Account Executive for our Public Relations team. You will lead evolving client work, guide internal teams under senior leadership, and help manage budgets, timelines, and relationships through proactive thinking and strong execution.

You’ll contribute to organic growth and new business opportunities, while collaborating with agency partners to deliver strategic counsel and measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, strategic communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.
• Approximately 3–5 years of progressive experience in an agency, media, or communications environment.
• Understanding of strategic communications planning, including research, stakeholders, goals, strategy, tactics, reporting, and evaluation.
• Experience working directly with clients or external stakeholders and engaging with media professionals.
• Knowledge of media, influencer marketing, crisis communications, public affairs, and the integrated marketing landscape.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of integrated PR projects from proposals to results reporting.
• Own key workstreams including strategy memos, presentations, news materials, media pitches, and contract negotiations.
• Identify client opportunities and communicate thoughtful ideas, solutions, and recommendations.
• Help develop and manage budgets, billing, invoicing, timelines, and measures of value.
