Job summary

247Hire in Vienna, VA is seeking an experienced portfolio/program leader to review and prioritize initiatives, define problem statements, and guide the governance of a 70+ initiative portfolio from discovery to implementation.

You will collaborate with sponsors and senior executives, develop Lean Business Cases, Epics, roadmaps, and executive presentations, and monitor portfolio health, risks, and dependencies to ensure strategic value realization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, program management, business transformation, product management, or strategy.
• Experience managing complex business/technology initiatives and portfolios.
• Strong skills in strategic planning, business case development, governance, and value management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize new initiatives based on strategic alignment, value, and portfolio fit.
• Partner with Sponsors to define problem statements, business outcomes, and executive presentations.
• Provide oversight across 70+ initiatives from Discovery through Implementation.
• Conduct value assessments and support investment and prioritization decisions.
• Develop Lean Business Cases, Epics, roadmaps, and portfolio governance materials.
• Monitor portfolio health, risks, dependencies, progress, and strategic alignment.
• Prepare monthly portfolio reviews, executive presentations, and portfolio reports.
• Partner with business and technology teams to drive strategic initiatives and value realization.
