Job summary

Relay Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Associate/Associate Director of Portfolio and Strategy Operations to oversee operations for a first-in-class program through early clinical development in Cambridge, MA. You will align Medical, Clinical Operations, and Pharmaceutical Development teams, communicating progress to leadership.

You’ll craft strategies, build timelines, and drive risk management while refining processes and messages for the Executive Leadership Team and Board.

Qualifications

• Experience (minimum 3 years) in management consulting, operations, program management and executive communication.
• Science or management consulting background.
• Open and candid communicator with strong EQ and collaborative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program timelines, identify interdependencies, risks and critical path activities.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to drive program progression in a matrix organization.
• Update and refine processes; steer content for leadership and external meetings.
• Craft narratives and visuals to communicate progress to Executives and the Board.
• Manage and maintain the long-range strategic plan in collaboration with the project team.
