Job summary

Government Scientific Source in Reston, VA is hiring a Portfolio Manager to support the Category Manager by overseeing a portfolio of suppliers and products. You will cultivate supplier relationships, coordinate pricing reviews, and maintain accurate product data.

This full-time hybrid role requires a bachelor’s degree, strong communication, Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or scientific field.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Access.
• Multitasking experience with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers in the assigned portfolio.
• Develop and execute a strategic business plan to grow the portfolio.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly business reviews with data analyses and sales reviews.
• Manage product data including web content, item setup, activations, replacements and discontinuations.
• Conduct pricing updates and track promotions.
