Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Sr. Position, Navigation, & Timing (PNT) and Satellite Control Network (SCN) Project Engineer to support MD 31 Chief Engineering.

The role requires strong experience in satellites, ground systems, and NDS, with on-site work and periodic travel. The incumbent will lead major tasks, coordinate Aerospace resources, and help deliver secure, integrated space systems for national security missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer science or an equivalent STEM field.
• 12+ years of relevant technical and leadership experience in ground communications, satellite systems, information systems development and program management.
• Strong background in operations, systems engineering, mission integration, testing and fielding.
• Experience with government system acquisition lifecycle and SETA/FFRDC environments.
• Experience leading technical teams in ground and space technologies.
• Excellent communication with leadership and stakeholders.
• TS/SCI clearance required; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Aerospace's direct point of contact to the MD 31 Chief Engineer, coordinating resources across programs.
• Assist in formulating and evaluating technical solutions and risk analyses.
• Integrate capabilities across systems to ensure resilient and secure operations, including cybersecurity.
• Lead program tasks on system-level architecture, design concepts, and integration of new capabilities.
• Convey Aerospace scope, objectives and goals to customer, colleagues and matrixed organizations.
• Identify opportunities for new business and assist leadership in pursuing them.
