Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Management – Operations Governance to establish and lead the governance framework that prioritizes and delivers strategic initiatives across functions. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Strategy to drive execution excellence, manage KPIs, and provide clear visibility into risks and outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
4 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related area; OR 6 years' experience.
2 years supervisory experience.
3 years' project management experience.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization.
Experience developing governance processes and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

Own governance for prioritization, planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives.
Schedule and facilitate steering committees, portfolio reviews, and governance forums.
Standardize performance management with KPIs, OKRs, dashboards, and reporting.
Deliver executive insights through targeted dashboards and concise leadership updates.
Oversee cross-functional project plans, milestones, dependencies, and resources.
Define scope, manage risks and dependencies, coordinate execution across functions.
Identify and elevate risks and dependencies to keep initiatives on track.
Simplify governance structures and ensure leadership forums focus on critical decisions.
