Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Estimator on the Pre-Construction end for a well-known mechanical and plumbing contractor in Pennsylvania.

The role requires detailed takeoffs, bid package preparation, and collaboration with vendors, subcontractors, and general contractors. You will prepare bid summaries, review specs, and assist in pricing and quotes within deadlines, supporting design development and project handoffs with senior estimators and operations.

Qualifications

• Must perform detailed takeoffs and prepare bid packages.
• Experience with plan-spec and design/build drawings is expected.
• Communicate with vendors, subcontractors and general contractors.
• Assist in pricing and preparing quotes within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Identify and distribute bid RFI’s when required.
• Prepare and set up drawing folders for estimations.
• Distribute bid requests to vendors and subs.
• Participate in preconstruction meetings and site walks.
• Perform manual takeoffs and labor estimates.
• Review project specifications for pricing and scope.
• Prepare bid summaries and scopes of work.
• Track estimates and follow up to determine outcomes.
• Support engineering teams with drawings per budget.
• Assist in project handoffs with senior estimators.
