Job summary

PSI Pax, Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks a skilled procurement professional to manage raw materials and indirect purchases for the USA. You will drive cost savings, supplier performance, and supply continuity, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has plastics/chemicals experience, strong negotiation, data analysis, and proficiency in Dynamics 365 BC and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, logistics or related field.
• 5+ years of procurement experience, plastics or chemical industry preferred.
• Experience with supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Power BI experience a plus.
• Knowledge of contract law as it relates to purchasing.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing requirements for the USA facilities.
• Maintain purchase records and vendor data including specs, pricing and contracts.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and cost drivers.
• Lead supplier selection, quotations, TCO analyses, and contract negotiations.
• Build strong supplier relationships through visits, audits, and evaluations.
• Develop commodity strategies to maximize leverage and continuity.
• Support material budget planning, cost forecasting, and KPIs.
• Lead negotiations, cost-reduction workshops, and corrective actions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to mitigate supply risk.
