Job summary

PSI is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead sourcing of raw materials and indirects for its USA facilities. You will optimize costs, ensure supply continuity, and align with operational goals. The role requires plastics/chemicals experience and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Key focus areas include supplier performance, market analysis, and contract negotiations, with travel as needed to visits and audits. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in procurement are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement experience in plastics or chemicals.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, logistics or related field.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 BC and Power BI preferred.
• Strong supplier management and strategic sourcing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing requirements for USA facilities.
• Maintain detailed vendor data including specifications, pricing, performance and contracts.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and cost drivers.
• Lead supplier selection, quotations, TCO analysis and negotiations.
• Build relationships through visits, audits and evaluations.
• Develop commodity strategies to maximize leverage and continuity.
• Support material budget planning, cost forecasting and KPIs.
• Lead negotiations and cost-reduction workshops.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to mitigate supply risk and improve performance.
