Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Plant Controller for a large manufacturing facility in Miami, FL. The role leads plant finance, budgeting, forecasting, costing, and reporting, partnering with operations to drive profitability and cost savings.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in manufacturing finance, strong cost accounting and ERP/Excel skills, and advanced degrees or certifications (CPA/CMA/MBA preferred). Competitive base salary with annual bonus opportunity is offered along with comprehensive

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
7+ years in accounting or finance within manufacturing
Strong cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
Experience supporting a large manufacturing plant or multi-site operation
CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
ERP systems experience and advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities

Lead plant finance and accounting activities: budgeting, forecasting, costing, inventory accounting, monthly reporting
Partner with operations to analyze costs, improve profitability and identify savings opportunities
Manage inventory controls, standard costing, variance analysis and GAAP reporting
Prepare and present plant results, KPIs and operational metrics to senior leadership
Support audits, capex planning and internal control initiatives
Develop and mentor accounting and finance staff within the facility
