Job summary

Redwire Space Enterprises in Goleta, CA is seeking an experienced Planning and Materials Manager to oversee shipping, logistics, inventory, production control, and manufacturing planning operations.

You will set a clear strategic vision for the Planning and Materials group, collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management, and own the master production schedule to meet customer delivery dates while optimizing resources.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Operations, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing with ownership of planning, inventory, logistics, and shipping.
• 3+ years leading teams in a related function.
• Experience transforming planning and logistics with KPI dashboards and leader standard work.
• Deep experience with master scheduling, MRP, capacity modeling, and finite scheduling in low-volume, engineered manufacturing.
• ERP systems experience; Deltek Costpoint or similar is beneficial but not central.
• Aerospace/regulated environments with ISO 9001/AS9100 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Set vision for Planning and Materials group and drive process transformation with KPI alignment.
• Translate demand, milestones, and design changes into executable plans with cross-functional partners.
• Own master production schedule and capacity planning to meet delivery dates while optimizing labor and materials.
• Maintain material control from kitting to point-of-use and improve BOM accuracy and MRP signals.
• Use ERP and related tools to enable processes and standardized reporting.
• Ensure adherence to quality systems and customer requirements across planning and logistics workflows.
• Prepare for and support audits with strong records management and training evidence.
