Job summary

Barnes Group is seeking a Planning Manager for its West Chester, OH site. This role will lead the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process and manage the Master Production Schedule. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

The position requires a strong understanding of inventory management and capacity planning, along with proficiency in ERP/MRP systems. Candidates with Aerospace or Lean Manufacturing experience will be preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, or Manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience leading SIOP processes.
• Experience managing Master Production Scheduling (MPS).

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
• Align demand forecasts, backlog, capacity, inventory, and financial objectives.
• Facilitate cross‑functional reviews and executive decision‑making.
