Job summary

Cox Automotive in Atlanta seeks a Senior Manager, Strategic Planning to lead the annual planning process, drive initiative tracking, and develop analyses to support executive decisions. You will partner with the strategy team, business leaders, and the C-suite to shape portfolio strategy and monitor execution across lines of business.

Responsibilities include building financial models, assessing opportunities, presenting executive-ready materials, and coordinating staff agendas.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree required with 8+ years of strategic planning and/or mgmt. consulting experience.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, modeling, and research skills.
• Excellent organization and project management skills; concise verbal and written communication.
• Ability to interpret complex data for executive audiences.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and portfolio strategy for Cox Automotive.
• Coordinate strategy sessions, prepare executive materials, and track progress.
• Develop analyses, models, and frameworks to support decision-making.
• Partner with leaders across units to align on roadmaps and actions.
• Communicate strategy and progress through scorecards and dashboards.
• Prepare meeting materials and summaries for the executive leadership team.
