Job summary

Rolls-Royce is hiring a Planning and Delivery Leader in Indianapolis, IN. This hybrid role involves coordinating production schedules, material requirements, and supplier delivery commitments to ensure a smooth flow for approved materials.

You will report to the P&C Manager and travel domestically up to 25% as needed. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to balance delivery and inventory to meet customer requirements, while improving processes through the Rolls-Royce Production System.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
• 4+ years of experience in supply chain planning, purchasing, manufacturing or business management
• Bachelor’s degree 2+ years of experience in supply chain planning, purchasing, manufacturing or business management
• Master’s degree, or JD/PhD
• 6+ years in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of supply to the manufacturing facilities
• Utilize knowledge of production flow and load and capacity planning to build credible supplier delivery commitments
• Manage data integrity in SAP and ensure ERP Compliance is maintained
• Effectively manage cost by executing a balanced delivery and inventory plan based on customer requirements
• Communicate and schedule long term delivery commitments and coordinate recovery plans for critical parts
• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives through the Rolls-Royce Production System and other problem-solving methodologies
