Job summary

BCF Solutions, Huntsville, AL, seeks a Strategic Planning Analyst (Intermediate) to lead strategic planning, programmatic tasks, and executive communications. The role supports mission planning, analyses, and policy development for senior leadership.

Responsibilities include calendar management, briefing preparation, media coordination, and coordinating advisory committee activities, with strong emphasis on documentation and secure communications and cross-agency collaboration.

  • BA/BS and 3 years’ experience in administrative/business field; AA and 4 years’ experience; or 10 years’ experience.

  • Mission Planning and Analysis: Support mission planning and strategy analysis.
  • Analytical Support: Provide strategic planning analyses and reports.
  • Annual Strategy Review: Recommend updates to agency goals and vision.
  • Executive Leadership Support: Assist in preparing high-level briefings.
  • Federal Advisory Committee Act Support: Implement advisory committee programs.
  • Task Management: Manage the Task Management Tool (TMT) system.
  • Event Facilitation: Plan executive off-site activities.
  • Routine Operations: Conduct security checks and manage classified documents.
  • Calendar Synchronization and Integration: Lead calendar event synchronization.
  • MDA Calendar Synchronization Group (CSG): Coordinate significant events.
  • Executive Calendar Management: Maintain an accurate executive calendar.
  • Weekly Briefings: Brief the executive calendar weekly.
  • Long Range Calendar: Maintain a two-year event calendar.
  • Calendar Distribution: Distribute weekly calendars.
  • Staff Coordination: Coordinate weekly staff products.
  • Documentation and Correspondence: Prepare briefings and correspondence.
  • Strategic Planning Support: Assist in strategy and policy development.
  • Leadership Messaging: Disseminate leadership messages.
  • Media Support: Coordinate media production and distribution.

SUMMARY

The Strategic Planning Analyst (INT) will lead and execute Strategic Planning, Programmatic andCommunication tasks utilizing state of the art techniques and processes to support stakeholder requirements.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • BA/BS and 3 years’ experience in administrative/business field; AA and 4 years’ experience in administrative/business field; or 10 years’ experience in administrative/business field.
  • Possess 2+ years’ experience supporting CEO level military equivalent (Senior Executive Service (SES) or Flag Officer).
  • Capable of executing day to day office operations and mission planning associated with senior executive level leadership including serving as an advisor and assisting with detailed planning of complex management projects, issues, and initiatives.
  • Proficient in advanced analytical thinking; working in a teaming environment developing corporate strategies, goals and objectives and briefing recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Experience planning, facilitating and conducting executive-level activities
  • Proficient in preparing, reviewing and coordinating executive level correspondence.
  • Experience in government travel processes and systems.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining schedules including calendar synchronization of events and integration of activities for senior leaders.
  • Proficient in classified correspondence handling procedures.
  • Proficient in government task management systems.
  • Experience planning, facilitating and conducting organizational studies and presenting results and recommendations.
  • Proficient in researching, reviewing, and preparing meeting support materials (e.g. briefings, papers, read-ahead).
  • Experience working with government time-management procedures and systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of record management processes.
  • Must have specialized relevant knowledge ofTask Management Tool (TMT) system.
COMPUTER SKILLS
  • Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
  • Must have proficiency (expert-level) in Adobe software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CLEARANCES
  • Must possess and maintain an activeDoD Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship)
