Job summary

Gemini Industries Inc. provides technical, management and operations support for national security missions at MacDill AFB, FL. The Strategic Planner collaborates with military and government personnel to develop long-range plans and delivers briefs to senior leaders as needed.

Minimum 3–5 years planning experience at a Combatant Command HQ is required, with a War College graduate preferred. This role requires TS/SCI clearance and minimal travel.

Responsibilities

• The Strategic Planner performs specific planning requirements and collaborates with military and government personnel to accomplish tasks that support the long‑range planning requirements of USCENTCOM.
• Provides technical recommendations to joint planning teams and working groups regarding Joint Planning, the Joint Operational Planning Process, Execution System, Exercise/Training Planning, and Joint Doctrine.
• Develops and delivers briefs to senior leaders on topics within the scope of the task order.
• Provide technical support in evaluating and coordinating USCENTCOM strategies, plans, and policies related to the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
• Provide analyses and recommendations for USCENTCOM implementation and planning efforts involving joint, interagency, and multinational partners and allies.
• Provide support and assistance to directed joint planning teams and working group for coordination between staff and coalition or regional partner representatives for operations in the USCENTCOM AOR.
• Advise the USCENTCOM Commander’s staff (Joint Directorate and below) on strategic and regional concerns.
• Provide analyses, recommendations, and draft products for joint planning teams and working group approval in developing of orders, analyses, estimates, and briefings for USCENTCOM leadership and primary staff.
