Job summary

BD is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planner/Buyer in Columbus, NE to establish production schedules and ensure material availability. You will balance raw materials, coordinate with production teams, and manage inventory integrity while maintaining clear communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Required 5 years in manufacturing or SCM, BA/BS in related field, and knowledge of MRP/ERP systems; APICs certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Business is required.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• APICs Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish production schedules and ensure materials are available.
• Balance raw materials and supplies to minimize on-hand inventory.
• Maintain open orders and coordinate with manufacturing and planning teams.
• Interact with suppliers and internal plants to avoid outages and backorders.
• Coordinate finished goods shipments and inventory integrity with manufacturing.
