Job summary

Camfil USA is seeking a Planner/Buyer in Kilgore, TX to manage material planning, purchasing, and production scheduling for high-volume manufacturing. You will ensure material availability, optimize production schedules, and maintain inventory to support operational and financial goals.

You will serve as a liaison between suppliers, production, engineering, quality, and leadership to drive on-time delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in production planning, purchasing, scheduling, or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.
• Ability to research, analyze, negotiate, and execute purchasing activities ethically.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand and constraints.
• Monitor and adjust schedules to address downtime, shortages, or changes in demand.
• Coordinate schedule changes with production, operations, and customer service teams.
• Analyze capacity and bottlenecks to improve throughput.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data, lead times, pricing, and procurement details.
