Job summary

City of Hope Atlanta seeks a Manager of Physician Services to partner with the Chief Clinical Officer in leading physician services, recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and employment lifecycle processes. You will drive strategic clinical initiatives, oversee scheduling, compensation models, and workforce planning in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Expertise in EMR systems, project management, and cross-functional leadership is essential to advance clinical and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic medical record systems and/or 7+ years supporting C-level executives and hospital operations.
• Minimum 3+ years leading teams to execute enterprise initiatives; MBA/MHA/MPH preferred.
• Experience in cancer care, academic medical centers, or hospital systems is a plus.
• EPIC knowledge or certification is preferred; CPPM credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate physician services operations, medical staff programs and strategic initiatives.
• Manage meeting cadence, project plans, and cross-functional communication.
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to identify improvements and drive performance.
• Provide data analyses and recommendations for leadership decisions.
• Oversee scheduling, on-call coverage, staffing assessments, and workforce planning.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, relocation and retention of physicians.
• Develop and analyze physician compensation models and contracts.
• Coordinate payroll, HRIS transactions, and employment lifecycle activities.
• Monitor productivity, quality, compliance, patient satisfaction, and financial metrics.
• Lead special projects with executive, clinical and operational leaders.
• Manage CME tracking, contract compliance, and medical staff bylaws/regulatory requirements.
