Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a security discipline or 5+ years of qualifying experience, or 10 years of experience.
• Experience with PHYSEC policy, planning, assessment, and administration at a military service HQ.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to obtain/maintain access to government databases (MPICAM, ISMS, MIST, ISC-CS, HSIN).
• Ability to translate technical security concepts into clear written guidance.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple subject-matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and program support for USCG security programs across security disciplines.
• Analyze policy and guidance and advise on improvements to USCG policy.
• Prepare written correspondence and regulatory documents using MS Office and SharePoint.
• Assist in developing training and awareness materials.
• Support staff visits to assess compliance with security requirements.
• Plan and coordinate security activities for diverse facilities and audiences.
• Manage multiple tasks and coordinate with officials.
