Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 5-7 years of development, project management, or related transferable experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to translate medical/scientific information into clear, jargon-free language.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Project management experience with PM software.
• Ability to build bridges and collaborate across a complex organization.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm, initiative, and resilience.
• Ability to research audience needs and develop products and services accordingly.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision making.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with strong written and oral communication.
• Knowledge of the hospital's history, purpose, and mission.

Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the Senior Director, project manage Strategic Philanthropy & Engagement team projects.
• Serve as strategic partner to support project management for Signature and Events teams.
• Act as primary calendar contact for system-wide events alignment and donor participation.
• Manage team operations: meetings, budgets, and annual planning processes.
• Identify where project support is needed and ensure consistency in strategy and analytics.
• Support capital proposals and track capital revenue across system-wide fundraising efforts.
• Assist additional strategic projects including donor projects and pre-campaign planning.
• Develop and refine processes to streamline communications across the Development Office.
• Improve systems for efficient collaboration within the MGB Development Office.
• Advise on institutional priorities and related office processes.
