Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA seeks a Chief Philanthropy Officer & Executive Director to lead the Foundation and drive the enterprise-wide philanthropy strategy. As a member of the Senior Executive Council, you will oversee fundraising, major gifts, grants, stewardship, and community engagement, partnering with the COO, CEO, and Foundation Board to secure transformational donor support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Nonprofit Management, Communications, Public Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive executive leadership in healthcare philanthropy or nonprofit foundation.
• Proven success leading comprehensive fundraising including major gifts, principal gifts, campaigns, planned giving, grants, and stewardship.
• Successful collaboration with governing boards, physicians, executive leaders, and community stakeholders.
• Proven success securing six-, seven-, and transformational gifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead Augusta Health's philanthropy program and Foundation.
• Develop and execute enterprise-wide philanthropic strategy.
• Oversee fundraising, major gifts, planned giving, grants, stewardship, and operations.
• Partner with senior leaders and Foundation Board for donor cultivation and stewardship.
