The Jewish Family Children's Services of the Suncoast seeks a Head of Philanthropy to lead strategic fundraising, donor engagement, annual giving, grants, and events. Reporting to the CEO, you will cultivate donor relationships, expand partnerships, and implement innovative campaigns to ensure financial sustainability.

You will collaborate with communications to craft compelling donor materials, represent JFCS at community events, and align fundraising goals with organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CFRE certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit management.
• Strong background in managing development operations, events, and fundraising campaigns.
• Experience in both nonprofit and for-profit environments a plus.

Responsabilités

• Participate in planning and execution of the agency’s annual fundraising strategy, aligning with mission and priorities.
• Reinvigorates planned giving program and legacy donor recruitment, including outreach in Sarasota.
• Supervise Grant Specialist and Marketing positions; monitor grants and reporting.
• Build a culture of philanthropy and align goals with organizational priorities.
• Represent JFCS at events and philanthropic networks to promote impact.
• Collaborate with Communications to develop donor materials and campaigns.
• Direct planning and execution of fundraising events and innovative campaigns.
• Oversee donor database management and reporting; use data to inform strategy.
