Foundation of American Nurses Association-New York is seeking a Director of Development for a part-time, remote role (15–20 hours/week). The position focuses on strategic growth, donor stewardship, major gifts, planned giving, and development infrastructure to support our mission and growth.

The ideal candidate has nonprofit fundraising, donor development, and planned giving experience, with hands-on ability to build development systems while managing donor relationships and solicitations.

Qualifications

• Nonprofit fundraising, donor development, major gifts, and planned giving experience.
• Experience using Bloomerang to manage donor databases.
• Knowledge of NY charity solicitation and fundraising requirements.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive annual fundraising plan.
• Develop and manage donor cultivation, stewardship, and pipeline.
• Identify, solicit, and steward major-gift prospects.
• Establish development systems and processes for a small nonprofit.
• Collaborate with CEO and Board to pursue fundraising opportunities.
