Job summary

Blue Shield of California seeks a Program Manager, Consultant for Pharmacy Strategy and Operations to support Commercial and Government Markets programs and provide consultant-level guidance. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Pharmacy Programs and contribute to strategic initiatives across multiple teams.

The role emphasizes leadership development, critical thinking, and delivering results with integrity, while fostering continuous learning in a hybrid in-office setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of additional relevant experience (Master's degree preferred).
7 years of prior relevant experience with Pharmacy or health program management and/or consulting.
Deep understanding of program and resource management with strong business acumen.
Knowledge of Blue Shield of California, Commercial line of business, and/or IFP preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Support for Pharmacy Programs within Commercial and Government Markets lines of business.
Provide consultant level support for pharmacy programs.
Report to the Sr. Manager, Pharmacy Programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive program outcomes.
