Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Services Leader for the Enterprise Pharmacy - Patient Assistance: Non Specialty department in Illinois. You will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with accrediting bodies, and lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

The role requires a pharmacist licensed in the practice state with ~5 years of health system experience including supervisory responsibilities and budget oversight.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations by setting priorities and directing staff.
• Ensures compliance with state, local and federal regulations and accrediting standards (ASHP, USP, ISMP).
• Oversees staffing, scheduling and budgeting to optimize cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Identifies quality and safety risks and leads improvement projects within the department.
• Collaborates with site leaders to meet goals and deliver interdisciplinary services.
