Job summary

VBeyond Corporation in Boston, MA, is seeking a Director of Pharmacy & Clinical Nutrition to provide strategic and operational leadership for hospital pharmacy services. This senior role oversees clinical services, regulatory compliance, financial performance, medication safety, and staff development.

The position requires a PharmD, at least 5 years of supervisory experience in a pharmacy department, and MA licensure by hire.

Qualifications

• PharmD from an accredited U.S. pharmacy school.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience within a pharmacy department.
• 2–3 years of experience as an Assistant Director of Pharmacy at an organization with a residency program up to PGY2 in Pharmacy Administration.
• Current Massachusetts pharmacist license by the date of hire.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and staff development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all pharmacy department operations, including clinical services, strategic planning, budgeting, and quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, including Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy, DPH, DEA, FDA, USP standards, and Joint Commission requirements.
• Oversee pharmacy staffing, recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development.
• Manage operating and capital budgets, purchasing, inventory control, and pharmacy service contracts.
• Support safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication management in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
