Job summary

Caturus is seeking a Manager, Permitting to join our Houston team and support the development and execution of permitting strategies for energy and LNG projects.

This role will manage regulatory filings, agency engagement, and ensure permitting requirements are incorporated into project development and execution, working closely with Engineering, Legal, HSE, Construction, Operations, and EPC Contractor teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• 7+ years of permitting/regulatory experience in energy/LNG.
• Experience coordinating Federal, State, and Local permitting and agency interactions.
• Knowledge of LNG facilities and FERC regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify applicable Federal, State, and Local permits, approvals, and studies required for project development, construction, and operation.
• Lead development and execution of project-specific permitting strategies aligned with schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate preparation, submittal and management of permit applications and agency correspondence.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, HSE, Construction, Operations, and EPC teams to incorporate permitting into design and execution.
• Monitor permitting schedules, risks, and dependencies; develop mitigation plans to minimize cost/schedule impacts.
• Lead regulatory inspections, audits, and agency reviews related to permitting activities.
