The ideal candidate has 7+ years of nursing leadership in perioperative services, a track record of large-scale transformation in academic medical centers,
Qualifications
- 7+ years of nursing leadership in Perioperative Services.
- Experience leading strategic initiatives in academic medical centers.
- Engagement of academic partners, physicians, and leaders.
- Strong leadership in interpersonal relations, group dynamics, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Knowledge of financial analysis, HR, risk management, accounting/payroll.
- California RN license required upon hire; Doctoral degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Guide system-wide transformation across perioperative operations.
- Partner with senior perioperative leadership to shape long-range planning.
- Drive organizational optimization and innovative care delivery across UCSF campuses.
- Elevate surgical outcomes and standardize perioperative education.
- Foster cross-disciplinary collaboration among clinical teams, academic departments, and external partners.
