Penn Mutual is seeking a Strategic People Partner to serve as a trusted partner to leaders and employees, guiding talent practices and employee relations. You will help drive engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness in a hybrid work environment.

You will collaborate with HR centers of excellence to implement people programs, support change initiatives, and analyze workforce data to identify trends that improve the associate experience.

Competenze

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience including employee relations, talent management, or performance management.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
  • Financial services or regulated industry experience preferred.

Mansioni

  • Partner with leaders to support talent, engagement, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Provide day-to-day coaching on performance management and employee relations matters.
  • Support talent processes including performance reviews, succession discussions, and development planning.
  • Assist leaders in addressing associate concerns while ensuring policy alignment.
  • Facilitate employee relations conversations and partner on complex matters with Senior Partners.
  • Analyze workforce data and feedback to identify trends and improve engagement and retention.

This role works closely with leaders and Senior Strategic People Partners to provide guidance on talent practices, employee relations, performance management, engagement, and organizational initiatives.This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping leaders create high-performing teams while continuing to grow their strategic HR capabilities.We've embraced a flexible, hybrid approach to work. Based on your role and personal preference, we empower you to choose where you work best.ResponsibilitiesPartner with leaders and employees to support talent, engagement, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.Provide day-to-day coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, employee relations matters, career development, and people practices.Support the execution of talent processes, including performance reviews, talent assessments, succession discussions, and development planning.Assist leaders in addressing associate concerns while ensuring alignment with company policies, practices, and values.Facilitate employee relations conversations and partner with Senior Strategic People Partners on more complex matters.Analyze workforce data and employee feedback to identify trends and recommend actions that improve engagement and retention.Support organizational change initiatives, communication efforts, and team effectiveness strategies.Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and other HR Centers of Excellence to implement people programs and solutions.Assist with investigations and documentation, partnering with Legal, Compliance, and HR leadership as appropriate.Participate in cross-functional projects that support business and people priorities.Champion Penn Mutual's values, culture, and commitment to an exceptional associate experience.Skills and AbilitiesAbility to build strong working relationships and establish credibility with leaders and employees.Strong communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion.Working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and talent practices.Ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful trends.Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to learn and grow through coaching and feedback.Customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering an exceptional associate experience.EducationBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.Experience3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience supporting employee relations, talent management, performance management, recruiting, learning and development, or other HR disciplines.Experience partnering with leaders and employees to solve people-related challenges.Experience participating in organizational initiatives, projects, or change efforts preferred.Financial services or experience in a regulated industry preferred.Base Salary Range - $90,000 - $105,000For over 175 years, Penn Mutual has empowered individuals, families and businesses on the journey to achieve their financial goals.
