Job summary

Gusto, Inc. is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Lead, Process Transformation to evolve our People Operations ecosystem.

You will identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate processes while ensuring operational excellence across HRIS Operations and People Services, reporting into the People Systems & Operations organization. You’ll partner across HR, Legal, Finance, and business leaders to redesign work—from hire to retire—creating scalable experiences for employees,

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, Business Operations, Process Excellence, Consulting, or related fields.
5+ years leading managers and operational teams.
Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale process transformation initiatives.
Experience managing HR shared services, HR operations, HRIS operations, or similar service organizations.

Responsibilities

Lead People Process Transformation by developing a multi-year strategy and identifying friction points in lifecycle workflows.
Drive technology-enabled improvements by partnering with People Technology to implement workflow automation and AI-enabled solutions.
Lead operational excellence through HRIS Operations and People Services with governance, metrics, and service improvements.
Establish operational governance with standards, documentation, and dashboards to monitor efficiency and quality.
Lead and develop teams, coaching managers and individual contributors toward continuous improvement and customer-centric thinking.
Partner across the business by influencing senior stakeholders in HR, Finance, IT, Security, and Legal.
