Job summary

BBSI is seeking a Payroll Specialist to process payrolls for 60-80 clients with varied pay frequencies. You’ll bridge client payroll needs with system capabilities, ensuring accurate, timely processing and onboarding.

The role emphasizes process improvement, client service excellence, and collaboration with staff across the office to deliver value to client companies and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in a multi-client environment.
• Strong client service orientation and superb customer service skills.
• Experience in process improvement and streamlining.
• Experience as a bookkeeper or accountant.
• Knowledge of wage and hour laws and taxability of wages.

Responsibilities

• Run high volume on- and off-cycle payrolls (800+ employees) for multiple client companies.
• Onboard new clients to BBSI payroll, CRM, timekeeping and HRIS systems; identify better options.
• Provide on-site payroll training and sessions on payroll software features.
• Manage client data: turnover, headcount, time & attendance, job costing, reporting.
