GRAIL is seeking a highly driven Payer Engagement Account Director to own and advance a pipeline of payer opportunities. This role requires building momentum, opening doors, and converting interest into coverage-enabled outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years in payer engagement or related roles.
• Willing to travel 30–40% across the U.S.
• Proven track record of closing payer negotiations that expanded coverage.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive a defined pipeline of payer opportunities with accountability for progress and timelines.
• Build and expand relationships with payer accounts, advancing pilots, data evaluations, and access activities.
• Lead payer meetings from initial outreach through follow-up with momentum and clear next steps.
• Translate payer interest into deliverables (pilots, collaborations, or agreements) with Senior Director, Payer Engagement.
• Navigate payer organizations to engage clinical, economic, and decision-makers; surface needs and objections early.
