Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services seeks a Parts & Procurement Specialist for its Generator Manufacturing Division. This role develops and releases purchase orders, monitors orders, and resolves material issues to keep production moving.

You will work closely with vendors, Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Procurement leadership to ensure material availability, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will balance price, quality, availability, lead time, and production

Qualifications

• Demonstrated purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work with vendors, production, engineering, and warehouse teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and release purchase orders based on material requirements and production schedules.
• Coordinate with vendors for materials, coatings, and outsourced parts.
• Monitor open/planned orders and expedite as needed to meet production dates.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information in ERP/MRP system.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Procurement leadership on priorities and changes.
• Identify sources for hard-to-find materials and negotiate best value.
