Job summary

Special Olympics, Inc. in Washington, DC, seeks a Manager, Stakeholder Engagement & Special Projects to partner with the CEO and cross-functional teams on high-priority initiatives, donor relations, and global development efforts.

You will draft strategic communications, coordinate with regional offices, manage key CEO relationships, and support fundraising and special initiatives, including events and international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field and experience in stakeholder engagement, external affairs, nonprofit management, or similar.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to handle multiple priorities across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the CEO through sustained correspondence with key stakeholders, including donors, Board members, partners, and officials.
• Draft and manage high-level correspondence and briefing materials in coordination with the CEO’s Executive Assistant.
• Lead donor relations and partnerships, collaborating with the SOI-Development team.
• Coordinate with Regional Offices as the primary liaison for CEO priorities.
• Assist in developing global partnerships, concept papers, and data collection.
• Support fundraising efforts and donor engagement strategies.
• Lead or support special projects and events under the CEO’s direction.
