Association For Materials Protection And Performance (AMPP) seeks a Business Development Manager (India) to advance regulatory adoption of AMPP standards, develop key political relationships, and drive certification uptake with major asset owners.

The role focuses on expanding partnerships across Energy, Maritime, Water & Civil Infrastructure; requires 10+ years in industry or similar bodies, strong leadership, budgeting acumen, and travel up to 50% including USA visits.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or higher; MBA or related certification advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years in industry, consulting, or professional bodies.
• At least 5 years in a managerial role; oil & gas exposure desirable.
• Experience with standards bodies and certifications is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Drive regulatory adoption of AMPP standards and certifications among major asset owners.
• Build and manage political relationships with ministries, regulators, and EPCs.
• Lead specification and certification adoption conversations; track regulatory developments.
• Develop partnerships; recruit members for AMPP committees and initiatives.
• Travel less than 50%; coordinate with USA and international stakeholders.
