Job summary

UNICEF seeks a Partnerships Specialist at P-3 level to advance private sector fundraising and partnerships from the New York duty station. You will support the Deputy Director and lead cross‑unit collaboration with National Committees, Country Offices and global teams to grow high‑value partnerships.

With a Master’s degree and at least five years in partnership management, you will drive strategic initiatives, manage key relationships, and help deliver funding and proposals for UNICEF's

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s with 2 additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.
• Minimum five years of relevant professional work experience in partnership management and front office support.
• Direct experience cultivating, soliciting and stewarding six- to seven-figure private sector partnerships is required.
• Experience supporting a senior leader in a front office setting and project management experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual work planning and budgeting process for the PSFP section, ensuring growth within a constrained environment.
• Advance integration of High Value channels and facilitate cross-unit collaboration.
• Support retention and uplift of UNICEF’s major private sector partnerships, acting as surge capacity when needed.
• Provide additional support on initiatives or projects as required.
